The Queensferry Crossing - Formerly the Forth Replacement Crossing, the new bridge will be operational in 2016 and will be Scotland's largest infrastructure project in a generation.

Forth Road Bridge - Opened on the 4th September 1964 by Queen Elizabeth ll and the Duke of Edinburgh, The Forth Road Bridge stretches 2.5km long with a main span of 1006 metres.

Forth Rail Bridge - Opened on the 4th March 1890 by the Princes of Wales (later to become King Edward VII), the Forth Rail Bridge spans a total length of 2,528.7 metres. Construction of the bridge began in 1887 using 58,000 tonnes of metal, thats 10 times as much as the Eiffer Tower.

Waterski Scotland has been established for over 40 years, and is located only 8 miles from the hotel in the beautiful surroundings of Townhill Country Park. It welcomes people of all abilities the chance to try water skiing and wakeboarding.

Deep Sea World welcomes you on a spectacular Underwater Safari as you experience the UK's longest underwater viewing tunnel, mysterious coral reefs, majestic sharks and much more. Deep Sea World is Scotland's national aquarium, and located beneath the famous Forth Rail Bridge at North Queensferry, it is home to a vast collection of thousands of weird and wonderful creatures.

Abbot House Heritage Centre is set in its own gorgeous gardens a stone's throw from a royal palace, monastery and abbey where Scotland's great hero king, Robert Bruce, is buried, Abbot House is the perfect place to explore Dunfermline's remarkable story at the heart of Scottish history. A guided tour will take you through nearly 1000 years of Scottish history from the foundation of Dunfermline abbey in 1128 to the opening of the Forth Road Bridge in 1964. See a recreation of the fabulous interior of the medieval abbey founded by St Margaret, view the original murals and hear about one of Scotland's greatest poets and see the fruits of Dunfermline’s labours as a major producer of damask linen.
